   ["The 3rd UN-wide Meeting on the United Nations and the International
                    Charter Space and Major Disasters"]

UNOOSA and UNOSAT are jointly convening the third UN-wide meeting on the
“The United Nations and the International Charter Space and Major
Disasters” in Geneva on 20 March 2006. If your institution or organisation
is a current or potential end-user of the Charter products, involved in the
distribution of products produced with Charter imagery, or responsible for
providing value-added services using imagery acquired through the Charter,
then please do consider joining us in Geneva for this one-day meeting which
will take place back-to-back with the Global Disaster Alert and
Coordination System – GDACS Annual Stakeholders Meeting, scheduled for 21
and 22 March 2006, also to be held in Geneva.

If you want more information on either the UN Charter meeting or the GDACS
meeting, being organised by OCHA, just send me an e-mail and I will provide
you with the information I have.
